TALVENTUOJA on lyhytelokuva, jossa 10 vuotias poika saa suuren vastuun; hänen täytyy heittää kylmä kivi järveen jotta talvi voi saapua maailmaan. Perustuu siis suomalaiseen sananlaskuun 'Jaakko heittää kylmän kiven'. Toimin elokuvassa käsikirjoittajana ja ohjaajana, ja työn pohjalta kirjoitan opinnäytetyöni jossa tutkin lapsen ohjaamista. Elokuvan alustava valmistumisaika on keväällä 2015.

TALVENTUOJA is a short movie about a 10 years old boy who gets a great responsibility of throwing a cold stone to the lake so the winter may come to the world. This story is based on finnish proverb "Jaakko throws the cold stone". I wrote this story and I was also a director. This is also a part of my bachelors thesis where I investigate how to direct a child. The movie should be out in spring 2015.

TAKUULLA TEKEMISTÄ! on TAMK:n projekti, jossa tarkoituksena oli kuvata 30-50 Tampereen seudun nuorten työllistymiseen ja koulutukseen liittyvää videota. Toimin projektissa kuvaajana lokakuusta 2013 aina syyskuuhun 2014 saakka.

TAKUULLA TEKEMISTÄ! (no translation) is video project where we made 30-50 short videos of how young people (age 18-30 years) can find job or place to study in Tampere. I was the cinematographer in this production and I filmed more than 25 videos. I started in October 2013 and finished in September 2014.

KOIRIEN LUONNETESTIT (2014)

KOIRIEN LUONNETESTIT oli yhden viikonlopun reissu, jonka aikana minä ja kaverini kuvasimme kymmenen koirien luonnetestiä ja tämän jälkeen leikkasimme ne parin seuraavan viikon aikana. Lopulliset tuotteet lähetettiin netin välityksellä koirien omistajille.

DOGS PERSONALITY TESTS was a one weekend job and me and my friend filmed 10 different dogs when they did their tests with their owners. After that weekend we also edited all those videos and send those to dog owners.

EN IRROTA (2014)

EN IRROTA pyörähti käyntiin syksyllä 2012 ja se kulki uljaasti työnimellä Keijo. Ensi-iltansa elokuva sai 7.2.2014! Tarina kertoo pojasta, joka haluaa riskejä kaihtamatta löytää totuuden menneisyydestään. Olin elokuvassa ohjaajan roolissa ja vaikka olen ohjannut muutaman lyhärin ennen tätä, koen tämän ns. esikoisekseni. Yritämme tuottajien kanssa saada elokuvan Euroopan elokuvafestareille ja siitä syystä videolinkki ilmestyy tänne vasta myöhemmin!

EN IRROTA (no translation yet) began fall 2012 and at that time we called it Keijo (it's finnish name for men and somehow it came to stay..). Its premiere were at 7th february 2014. The story is all about a boy who wants to find out what really happened in his past. I directed this short movie and even though I have directed a few shorties by now I still think this is my first born. What happens next is that we're going to send this shortie to some European film festivals and hope for the best. After festivals I'll give you the youtube link so you can watch this one! (or you can go to film festivals to see it..)

SAMA MIES (2014)

SAMA MIES on lyhytelokuva, joka kertoo prosopagnosiasta eli kasvosokeudesta kärsivästä John Smithistä. Elokuva saa ensi-iltansa Tampere-talolla 17.2.2014. Tämä elokuva oli osa yhtä TAMK:n elokuva - ja tv-linjan kurssia ja siitä leikattiin myös täysin erilainen mainos Tampereesta. Asiakkaanamme oli Tampere Convetion Bureu, joka järjestää kongresseja Tampereelle. Tässäkin elokuvassa toimin ohjaajana ja koska mainitsin En irrota-elokuvan yhteydessä sen työnimen olleen Keijo, mainitsen myös tässä että Sama mies kulki alunalkaen työnimellä Risto.

SAMA MIES (The Same man?) is a short movie which tells a story of John Smith who has prosopagnosia so he suffers face blindness. Premiere is in Tampere-talo at 17th february 2014. This short movie was made in one course of film and television programme and we also edited a commercial of Tampere from the material we shot. Our costumer was Tampere Convetion Bureu. I directed this film also and because I told you the project name of En irrota (which was Keijo) I can also say that this films project name was Risto (which is also finnish name for men).

MAIDON MATKA (2014)

MAIDON MATKA on lyhyt dokumentti maidon matkasta maatilalta jäätelöksi. Olin tuotannossa mukana ideoinnissa ja kuvauksissa toimin kakkoskuvaajana. Dokumentti saa ensi-iltansa helmikuussa 2014.

MAIDON MATKA (no translation yet) is a short document movie about how milk becomes ice cream. I was a part of planning process and a second camera man. Document has its premiere in february 2014.

TOTUUS ON TARUA IHMEELLISEMPÄÄ (2013)

TOTUUS ON TARUA IHMEELLISEMÄÄ oli kevään 2013 suurin projekti ja toimin siinä pääasiassa ohjaajana, mutta tein myös joitain tuottajan hommia sekä autoin lavasteiden rakentamisessa. Kyseessä oli TAMK:n elokuva- ja tv-linjan mainos ja se tehtiin Taru Sormusten Herrasta-hengessä. Kyseessä oli kohtaus, jossa Gandalf ojentaa Frodolle takasta noukkimansa suursormuksen. Tämä mainos ilmestyy jossain vaiheessa youtubeen ja kun se tapahtuu, linkitän sen tänne!

THE TRUTH IS MORE WONDROUS THAN FICTION was my greatest project of the spring 2013 and in this project I was a director but I also did some producing during the project. And I helped making props. This was an advertisement for the TAMK Degree Programme in Film and Television and it was made in the spirit of The Lord of the Rings. It was basicly the scene where Gandalf gives the One Ring to Frodo after taking it from his fireplace. This film will be released in Youtube and when it does, I will add the link here!
